The MB-SR60NY is a mullion and transom curtain wall system designed for enhanced compatibility with American building standards. This versatile system offers both standard and EI60 fire-rated options, which can be seamlessly integrated for a consistent façade appearance. The structure supports aesthetically combining glazed walls with non-transparent panels, such as metal sheets and concrete. Mechanically fixed insulating glass units are secured with glazing bars attached to the support structure.

Key Performance Specifications:

 • Structural Performance: Design load of ± 32 psf (ASTM E330-02(10))

 • Air Leakage: 6.24 psf (ASTM E283-04(12))

 • Water Penetration Resistance: 12 psf, both static (ASTM E331-00(09)) and dynamic (AAMA 501.1-05)

 • Movement Testing:

 • Vertical inter-story: 1/2” (AAMA 501.7-11)

 • Horizontal movement: 1/2” (AAMA 501.4-09)

 • Fire Resistance: Non-Bearing Wall Rating of 1 Hour (ANSI/UL 263)

Features and Benefits:

 • Design Flexibility: Combines glazed sections with non-transparent panels (metal or concrete) for varied aesthetic options.
